Sensing Yoga & Sound healing
Sensing Yoga is an inward-turning, gentle, flowing and allowing form of movement. It takes us back to our natural movement patterns, home to peace & calm, and helps us towards self-healing physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Sensing opens up for self-love & self-knowledge. Its natural, safe movements have such a powerful effect on our wellbeing in every dimension - with small, simple ways to balance our nervous system, raise the tone of our vagus nerve, reduce inner stress, release the love hormone oxytocin and, greatest of all - we are given the chance to look inwards and find our way to the treasure we all carry within us.
You will also experience deep relaxation with Sound healing, whose healing vibrations take us back to balance and harmony at a cellular level.
There will be many lovely moments for body, mind and soul.
With all my heart I warmly welcome you to a moment in the week just for you♡
With warmth & love – Cecilia

Frequently asked questions
Sensing & Sound is a yoga course with Earth & Heart Sisters in Kungsbacka where every class consists of gentle, allowing Sensing Yoga followed by deep relaxation with sound healing. The course is led by Cecilia.
Sensing Yoga is an inward-turning, gentle and flowing form of movement with natural movements on the body's own terms. It was created by Mia Elmlund in Kungsbacka and draws its thinking from how animals, small children and indigenous peoples move naturally. There are no poses to achieve – you listen inwards and move in the way that feels good for your body.
In yin yoga you hold still poses for a long time, and in vinyasa you move in breath-synchronised flows, often at a faster pace. Sensing Yoga is instead built on small, natural and intuitive movements that alternate with rest – without sun salutations, long holds or any demands on flexibility.
The course runs on Mondays from week 37 (7 September) to week 49 (30 November) 2026, twelve times. In week 44 (26 October) there is an autumn half-term break.
There are two classes each Monday evening: 17.30–19.00 or 19.30–21.00. When you register, you state which of the two classes you would like to attend during the autumn.
The price for twelve sessions is 2,399 SEK. That works out at around 200 SEK per session.
Yes, drop-in is possible subject to availability for 250 SEK. Email Cecilia at cecilia@earthheartsisters.com beforehand, so you know there is a place that evening.
At Alafors kvarncafé, Norra Annebergsvägen 98 in Kungsbacka. It is within walking distance of Anneberg station, which is served by commuter trains between Gothenburg and Kungsbacka.
No. No prior experience is needed – come just as you are. Sensing Yoga is not about being flexible or managing certain poses.
Soft, comfortable clothes that you can move and rest in. Feel free to bring something warm to put on for the relaxation, as the body often gets cool when lying still.
You lie comfortably while Cecilia plays sound healing instruments. You don't need to do anything – just receive the sound and rest. It is common to sink into a dreamlike, meditative state or to fall asleep for a while.
Research suggests that yoga can help. A meta-analysis of 42 studies (Pascoe et al. 2017, Psychoneuroendocrinology) linked yoga to lower levels of the stress hormone cortisol, a lower resting heart rate and lower blood pressure. Another meta-analysis (Wang et al. 2020, BMC Psychiatry) found a small but clear improvement in sleep quality in women. There is as yet no research specifically on Sensing Yoga, and yoga does not replace medical care.
The movements are gentle and you always adapt them to your own body. Please tell Cecilia before the course if you are pregnant or have an injury, and consult your midwife or doctor if you are unsure what is right for you.
Yoga normally counts as an exercise activity that can be paid for with the Swedish wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag), but it is your employer who decides. The Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) no longer publishes a list of approved activities. Ask your employer what applies where you work and what documentation they need.
